MEET SELENA THOMPSON: YOUR OHIO REAL ESTATE AGENT
Hello! I am thrilled that you have taken the first step in your real estate transaction by visiting our website. Let me tell you a little bit about myself. My name is Selena Thompson. I was born in Southern Utah and raised in Southeast Idaho. I attended University of Utah and Boise State University for my Undergraduate studies in Health Science Public Health Education and Health Administration. While at Boise State I met the man of my dreams. I think it had something to do with that BSU Basketball Uniform he wore so well! 😍 After graduation we moved back to my Husband's hometown of Akron, Ohio in 2006 where we expanded our family. From there I advanced my education to obtain my Master's in Business Administration with a dual emphasis in Health Care Management and Human Resources from University of Phoenix. I have also begun my Doctorate in Organizational Leadership and Design from Grand Canyon University. I'm currently a Health Care Executive at CVS Health and ecstatic to be adding Real Estate into my professional portfolio.

Secondly, I come with 10+ years of dedicated work experience in Health Care Executive Leadership with a key focus on Operations Management and Human Resources/Organizational Development. My career is centered at its core around people management. Whether it be the patients we are serving, the client we are securing, the vendor we are collaborating with or even the business we are acquiring. My first priority is always related to the customer experience. I am the focal point in ensuring the process management and people management strategies always align. To say the least, I understand people from all walks of life!

I BELIEVE IN GIVING BACK:
I am a firm believer in giving back and particularly passionate about community outreach programs benefiting our youth. My Husband and I both share this passion and strive to instill the importance of philanthropy within our own Children. After all, today's youth are the adults of the future! Our outreach efforts vary throughout neighborhood programs such as: inner city athletic clinics to mentoring and tutoring services to providing holiday giveaways for those who could not otherwise afford to have one. Volunteer time and partial commission proceeds are currently being used to support DSA (Developing Student Athletes) Academy based in Akron, Ohio. DSA is a non-profit organization benefiting student athletes achieve academic success and build life skills on and off the court/field. Another big reason for me choosing to partner with Keller Williams is the KW Cares program. KW Cares is a public charity created to support Keller Williams associates and their families with hardship as a result of a sudden emergency. The charity is the heart of of Keller Williams culture in action - finding and serving the higher purpose of business through charitable giving in the market centers and communities where the Keller Williams associates live and work.
IN MY FREE TIME:
As a family we love to spend time seeing the adventures of what the world has to offer through traveling! We are adamant believers that life is not about the materialistic items you possess but rather the memories and experiences that you've been able to create. We love experiencing new things, learning new cultures, trying new foods and meeting people from all around the world!
